Hestu is an important character in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This large and cheerful Korok wants you to give a bunch of stuff to him. Here's our guide to help you find Hestu so you can increase your inventory size in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Hestu and inventory size increase

To find Hestu in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you just need to reach Lookout Landing. This happens very early in the campaign as soon as you skydive all the way down to Hyrule. This area will also act as your main/initial hub, with its vendors, sleeping area, cooking pot, and various quests.

As for Hestu, you'll spot him in the southern corner of the grounds, fairly close to the Stables handler. However, if you don't see him as soon as you arrive, you may need to progress the campaign a bit further.

You may then trade the Korok Seeds you've found, allowing you to select which inventory you'd increase: melee weapons, bows, or shields. At the start, a single slot will only cost a single Korok Seed. However, as you add more slots to a particular inventory slot, the cost will get higher, too. These actions will cause Hestu to exclaim with joy, leading to a silly dance.

The Koroks that give Korok Seeds can be found in peculiar locations. They'd require a mini-puzzle to be solved, a simple task to be done, or, in some cases, a little help to reach their friend. Quite simply, there are hundreds of Korok Seeds in the game, so you should have numerous chances to increase your inventory size.

As an aside, we hope you prioritize your melee weapon inventory due to how often you'll use them in combat. Next up would be bows, followed by shields.

Last but not least, Hestu will move to another location after you cleanse the Great Hyrule Forest. He'll then be just off to the side of the Deku Tree.
