Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Ybarra has teased this year's BlizzCon event, confirming that the studio has "a lot to show."

In a recent tweet, Ybarra acknowledged a fan's anticipation for the annual convention and promised that the company will be ready to share news within the next couple of weeks, saying, "Ok, ok...yes, I see all the BlizzCon questions," Ybarra said.

"You’ll hear more in the next 2 weeks," he added. "We’re excited, we have a lot to show and celebrate together. I can't wait."

It's unclear at this time what BlizzCon 2023 will showcase, but it's likely that the upcoming Diablo IV could make an appearance ahead of its release date on June 6. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight launched in November of last year, but the event could still provide updates on the MMO, as well as Overwatch 2.

BlizzCon 2022--which was originally planned to be a largely virtual event--was canceled amid the lawsuits and investigations, which alleged widespread sexual harassment and discrimination at Activision Blizzard. With BlizzCon making a return this year, Blizzard may announce the dates and details soon.
