@kvallyx: my man, I don't know who's side you're on sometimes. But let's just put it this way, MS has been dealing with massive stock shortages...hopefully they get that resolved soon. But even with all the shortages our mau numbers are through the roof while Playstation is tanking.

They put effort into righting the ship with the Xbox One X as a gaming-first console. They continued this with the Series. How can this much effort go into the hardware but not the games?

Microsoft made a conscious decision to reduce/eliminate spending on 3rd party partnerships for exclusives. Why is this? Even if they want services to take off, services still need exclusives. This is why Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, etc etc etc, all have their own exclusive shows and consider it a win for their brand when they get that.

MS seems to still understand this is important because instead of selling games on whatever platform people play on, they will still have console exclusives.

But Halo Infinite development was totally on them, and this was their tentpole franchise. This company understands their APIs, their OS, their development tools, and the development process. And they still put out Halo that way. They didn't think their internal review process was faulty with Halo Infinite. They had full control over the project and could make the best decisions. They have the resources, they can attract whatever talent they want.

This is not an inept and stupid company. The position they're in now is one they have had control over.

There is no reason they should be where they are now.

How far are you in Forspoken on PS5? I got another hour in last night. The game is finally picking up as I have entered Chapter 5. Got Jedi Survivor playing on Xbox Series X™ now too.

They won't win in June. Diablo 4, Street fighter 6 and FF16 all come out in June and none of those are on Switch. May will be the last month it wins and the PS5 will continue to sell more units this year.

sony has not had a bad game in years.

xbox games dont delay that year hence why it takes over a year to get the full finished game. I rather wait for the finished product then beta form game.

A non Sony exclusive having low scores is his only way to cope with how poorly his favorite system has been performing. I say let him do his thing, its the only way Kvally is able to go to bed.

What does America have to with anything and why should I care about America? have to do with anything? Sony releases crappy games all the time. Forspoken is one of their precious games they dumped millions into for exclusivity and it flopped hard. TLOU 1 for PC flopped like Flipper.

@kvallyx: Maybe you don't know how to read PC scores. The higher the number, the more boring a PC game.

With TLoU:P1 PC, Think how much benchmarking can be done between registry and config.ini edits, and driver revisions that herms can try. They're happy as pigs in s***. Extra business for DF, too, more reasons for them to revisit a game. It trickles down.
